Turkish airport construction and operating company TAV said Wednesday it won a tender to construct a new terminal building for the UAE's Abu Dhabi Airport.

The company said a consortium with CCC and ARABTEC as the junior partners will complete the more-than-$3 billion USD project in 49 months.

TAV said the new terminal at the Abu Dhabi Airport will serve 27 million passengers a year.
