Turkish construction sector increased its employment rate in foreign countries 40 percent in the first eight months of 2011 when compared to the same period of 2010.
According to employment figures of Kariyer.net, employment opportunities were given for 4,500 people to work in foreign investments of Turkish companies.
Saudi Arabia and Sudan have presented the most opportunities in this period. They were followed by Iraq, Russia, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan and Zambia.
Turkish construction sector moved its foreign investments to East Africa and India due to Arab Spring which affected North Africa and Middle East.
