Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan on Wednesday met with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang on the sidelines of meetings at the World Economic Forum in the Chinese city of Dalian.
Babacan and Li discussed the political and economic relations between Turkey and China as well as regional developments. Babacan praised China's warm attitude towards Ankara. In response, Li said he was pleased to host Babacan.
This is the first official visit from Turkey to China after the change in the Beijing administration last November.
Babacan will represent Turkey in the meetings to beld within scope of the World Economic Forum.
The Annual Meeting, also known as the “Summer Davos,” brings together more than 1,500 participants from 90 countries. The participants will share strategies and solutions while discussing global issues and risks until Saturday.Last Mod: 11 Eylül 2013, 12:49
