Turkish companies exported a total of 6,131,491 white appliances in the first half of 2010 in six different product categories.

According to figures obtained from the Association of Turkish White Appliances Industrialists (TURKBESD), Turkey imported 318,435 white appliances, including refrigerators, deep freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and ovens between January and June 2010.

In 2009, Turkey had imported 301,354 white appliances in the same term.
In the first half of 2010, Turkey manufactured 8,578,759 white appliances out of which 2,522,401 were sold within the Turkish market.

In the first half of 2009, Turkey had produced 7,279,775 white appliances.
