Turkish exports were up 24.89 percent year-on-year in May 2010, the exporters' association said on Tuesday.
Turkey's Exporters' Assembly (TIM) said exports rose to 9.6 million USD in May.
However, 12-month exports were down 2.72 percent to 105.4 billion USD as of May.
Industry constituted 83.96 percent, agriculture constituted 12.28 percent and mining constituted 3.76 percent of Turkey's exports.
Turkey's industrial products were up 23.42 percent year-on-year and reached 7.6 billion USD, whereas Turkey earned 1.1 billion USD from its agricultural exports with an increase of 22.22 percent.
Mining exports were up 88.60 percent to 341.1 million USD in May 2010.
However, Turkey's dried fruits exports were down 5.33 percent year-on-year in May.
Germany, Italy, Britain, France, Iraq, Russian Federation, United Arab Emirates, Spain, the United States and Saudi Arabia were the top ten countries where Turkey exported its products in May.
