The Turkish foreign trade minister met CEOs of British companies on Thursday.
Turkey's State Minister Zafer Caglayan had a meeting with CEOs of 40 British companies including BP, Tesco, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Glaxo Smith Kline in London.
Caglayan is actually visiting the British capital.
"Temsa and British Modec Limited can cooperate in manufacturing electric light and small commercial vehicles," Caglayan told reporters after the meeting.
Caglayan said Turkey would support production for exportation with Value Added Tax (VAT) and special consumption Tax (OTV) incentives.
Turkey wanted to become a center for electric automotive manufacturing, Caglayan also said.
Modec is the world's first manufacturer of purpose built zero emission vehicles.
Heralded as the future of commercial transport, the British manufacturer was founded in 2004 by a team of automotive engineering experts and its vehicles were launched to the transport industry in March 2007.
