Turkish and Greek businessmen will get together at an export products fair to be held in the Greek island of Rhodes next month.
The RHODEXPORT 2010 Fair, which will be jointly organized by Turkish and Greek companies, will promote Turkish export products from October 29 to November 1.
Chairman Aggelos Karabikas of Alfa Fairs from Greece, chairman Osman Gencer of Genciz Fairs from Turkey and chairman Panagiotis Koutsikos of the Greek-Turkish Chamber of Commerce paid a visit to Izmir Chamber of Commerce (IZTO) on Monday.
Speaking at the gathering, IZTO's head Ekrem Demirtas said that his organization attached great importance to the Aegean coasts and islands, adding the chamber desired more trade and more joint investments in the region.
"Fairs have a major role in helping us to achieve this goal," Demirtas said.
Moreover, chairman Osman Gencer of Genciz Fairs said that the RHODEXPORT 2010 Fair would bring together more than 100 firms and create a business volume of around 30 million Euros.
