Turkish industrial employment increased 2.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012 compared to the same quarter of 2011 and remained same compared to the previous quarter.
TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority released the figures of "Indusrial Labor Input Indices, 4th Quarter, 2012" on Friday.
TurkStat said that employment in the Turkish industry rose 2.8 percent in the mentioned period over to the same quarter of 2011.
Quarterly industrial employment index noted 110.9.
In the industry, the gross wage-salaries index rose by 12.3 percent in Q4 of 2012 over to the same quarter of 2011 and by 2.5 percent over to the previous quarter of 2012.
Quarterly, gross wages-salaries index in industry was 226.7.
TurkStat said, hours worked index in Industry (based on 2005=100) increased by 2.4 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012 compared with the Q4 of 2011 and by 2.0 percent compared with the previous quarter.
