Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan indicated on Saturday, "we said at our meetings with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that we did not want any political intervention."
Speaking at the general assembly of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) in Istanbul, Prime Minister Erdogan said, "we have always tried to protect Turkey's and Turkish people's benefits.
We have also paid careful attention to Turkey's sensitivities. We will reach our middle-term targets. We said at our meetings with the IMF that we did not want any political intervention. We want to discuss only monetary and economic issues. We do not want to share Turkey's political issues with anyone."

Turkish Prime Minister is absolutely justified in saying that International Monetary Fund (IMF)is a monetary establishment and not political Agency to
interve in political affairs of the other countries, when they knock the door of IMF for economic and
financial aid or advice and loans.
