Vodafone Turkey is preparing to acquire one of the leading private telecoms company owned by one of the country's largest business conglomerates, Koc Holding A.S. .
Koc said it was set to sell 100-percent stakes in its telecom operator Koc.Net for 30 million Turkish liras (around 17.6 million USD) in cash and in a single installment on the date of completion of the acquisition.
Koc.Net's turnover saw an average of 26 percent rise between 2005 and 2010.
Vodafone Turkey has said the acquisition was "a milestone" for its future projections and it would strengthen the company's products and services portfolio for corporate customers.
