At least two refugees were killed and two others seriously injured last Thursday in a fire at the Moria refugee camp on Lesbos island, according to state news agency AMNA.
The explosion, possibly by a gas tank, caused a large part of the camp to be engulfed in flames that resulted in death of a mother and her child, according to AMNA. Another refugee mother and a child suffered severe burns.
Authorities have not commented on the fire.
Almost 6,000 migrants and refugees are currently stranded in Lesbos with more than half residing at the Moria camp.Last Mod: 25 Kasım 2016, 08:41
