Reports have emerged that Croatian police have detained six men in Zagreb suspected of preparing a major heist.

Police launched the operation early on Tuesday, arresting three Serbian citizens, two Bosnians and one Montenegro national.

During the raids police found bombs, dynamite, weapons and ammunition suspected of being linked to bank robberies in Zagreb.

The six men are being detained at Zagreb Police Department for questioning.
