The first meeting between Kosovo and European Parliament members will begin Wednesday morning.
Parliament members will discuss the situation of Kosovo in terms of EU integration, education reform, forthcoming local elections, and the future of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The European Parliament delegation, led by head of the parliamentary delegation for cooperation with southeast Europe Eduard Kukan, will meet with Kosovar Assembly President Jakup Krasniqi.
On Monday, the EU opened the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with Kosovo. The SAA is the first step toward future EU membership talks.
