Sundays election in Greece has seen four candidates of Turkish ethnicity in the Greek parliament.

The Greece elections on Sunday has paved way for four parliamentarians of Turkish ethnicity to take their place in the Greek parliament.

According to initial reports, SYRIZA representative, Mustafa Mustafa representing the province of Rodop, Ilhan Ahmet from To Patami and Huseyin Zeybek representing SYRIZA in Xanthi province also join Ayhan Karayusuf.

At this point in time, SYRIZA candidate from Rodop province Ayhan Karayusuf's status is still unclear. The Interior Ministry's official page states that Ayhan Karayusuf has been elected however according to Embassy sources they have encountered issues in the counting and are currently working to resolve the issue. Karayusuf's status could change at any point in time.
