Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is set to arrive in Geneva on Friday to join the disputed nuclear talks on Iran, conducted by P5+1 (UNSC permanent members and Germany), the Russian sources said.
After US, France, Britain and Germany, Russia will also increase their representation to a foreign ministry level, according the information given by Russian authorities.
Having arrived in Geneva on Friday afternoon, US Secretary of State John Kerry had a meeting with Catherine Ashton, EU High Commissioner for Foreign Policy, and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.
Kerry made a statement upon arriving in Geneva and said that there are differences between the parties in the negotiations adding "no agreement yet".
Negotiations are expected to continue tomorrow and there is no statement yet on whether Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will go to Geneva to join the talks.Last Mod: 09 Kasım 2013, 09:08
