Marian Kotleba, a right-wing extremist, has been elected as the governor of Banska Bystrica province in Slovakia, with 55.5% of the vote.
Having previously served as a leader of a banned neo-Nazi group, the Togetherness National Party, Kotleba is now the head of Slovakia’s ultra-nationalist Our Slovakia Party.
