Portugal held activities under the series of organizations for turkey Days in March, Turkey's state-run media said.

Activities are held in different cities every day, drawing the interest of local people.

As part of the events, actors and actresses from Turkish State Theatres staged an unforgettable performance in the historical Evora city, while marbling and calligraphy artists displayed their craftsmanship.

Organized by the Turkish-Portuguese Friendship Association, the events aim to illustrate basic aspects of Turkish culture and eradicate prejudices to that end.

Orientation activities will end with the closing ceremonies, which will be attended by Portuguese Culture Minister and several ambassadors.
