A drawing will be made on April 29 to select the press members who will cover the trial of German "National Socialist Underground" (NSU) cell.
Recently, a German court decided that press members to cover the trial would be selected in a drawing, and postponed the first trial to May 6.
A total of 50 media members will be allowed to cover the trial in the courthouse.
Under a new accreditation system decided by the court, covering media would be in three groups. There will be a quota of five for German and foreign news agencies in the first group, while ten quota were reserved for foreign press and the agencies broadcasting in German language in foreign countries in the second group. Four of the ten quota in the second group were reserved for Turkish press. The third group will have 35 quota for the press broadcasting in German language in Germany.
NSU is alleged to have murdered eight people with Turkish backgrounds, one with Greek roots and one German policewoman between 2000 and 2007, in addition to committing other crimes including a nail bomb attack in 2004 in a district of Cologne where many Turkish immigrants live, injuring 22 people.
