A group of more than 200 protesters marched in Germany’s capital Berlin to condemn the massacres targeting pro-democracy protesters in Egypt on Sunday.
Slogan shouting and placard holding demonstrators gathered at Hermannplatz Square in Neukolln- an area dominated by immigrant residents - to march through long Karl-Marx Street and Sonnenalle under police surveillance.
Protesters carried Turkish and Egyptian flags, as well as "Rabia" signs - a sign now associates with anti-coup protests in Egypt - and condemned General Abdulfattah el-Sisi, defense minister and the architect of military coup in Egypt.
Demonstrators then left the protest site in peace.Last Mod: 06 Ekim 2013, 22:19
