President Dervis Eroglu of the Turkish Cyprus will leave for New York, the United States.

Turkish Cyprus President heads to US for UN meetings

 

President Dervis Eroglu of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will leave for New York, the United States on Tuesday.

Eroglu will hold several talks within the scope of the 65th term meetings of UN General Assembly.

TRNC's Foreign Minister Huseyin Ozgurgun and several other officials will accompany Eroglu.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is expected to hold separate as well as trilateral meetings with Eroglu and Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias in New York.
