President Dervis Eroglu of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) said on Friday that summary opinions on the property issue were mutually presented during his meeting with Greek Cypriot leader Demetris Christofias on Friday.
Eroglu and Christofias met at the buffer zone in Lefkosa for the 10th time under Cyprus peace talks.
Delivering a statement following the meeting, Eroglu said parties presented their summary opinions on property topic to each other, however, they did not make any comments during today's gathering.
Eroglu said detailed proposals on the matter would be conveyed at the upcoming meeting on September 6, moreover, they would hold full-day talks on September 8 and 10.
The Turkish Cypriot president noted that very detailed discussions would be held on property issue and comprehensive proposals would be put on the table as part of the upcoming talks.
Eroglu also said Cyprus negotiations would resume in October as both himself and Christofias would be abroad to hold a series of talks until the end of September.
Eroglu's predecessor Mehmet Ali Talat and Greek Cypriot leader Christofias got together 71 times under the extensive settlement talks in Cyprus.
Dervis Eroglu was elected the new president of TRNC on April 18.
