A Turkish woman living in Denmark was held in a hospital for a long period of time with a broken back. She was then transfered to another hosptial where she was announced dead.
Filiz Kilic, 46, was a mother of three children who was living in the city of Holbaek and worked as a translator. She experienced a traumatic incident resulting in lumbar fraction.
She was taken to a nearby hospital where she waited two days until she was transfered to another hospital to undergo surgery. Following the operation Filiz Kilic experienced a heart attack and was announced dead shortly afterwards.
Her family will be suing the Holbaek Hospital due to serious neglects that they and doctors from the second hospital have noticed. Kilic's family stated that the Holbaek Hospital told them that the patient had to be held until the municipality approved the patient's file.
Once Odense Hospital finishes the funeral processes, Filiz Kilic will be taken back to Gaziantep, Turkey for burial.Last Mod: 30 Haziran 2014, 15:20
