The United Nations Security Council on Friday observed a minute's silence in memory of the victims of the twin terror attacks in Spain.

Twin attacks in Barcelona and in Cambrils, some 120 kilometers (75 miles) to the south, left at least 14 people dead and more than 100 injured.

The Islamic State group propaganda agency Amaq claimed one of its "soldiers" carried out the rampage in Barcelona.
