A three-phase security system has been placed at the Cilvegozu Border Gate after a recent blast killed 14 people and wounded 25 others.
According to the new system, passengers in a given vehicle go through a body check in a buffer zone.
Later, in the second phase, the vehicle goes through an x-ray check up.
In the third phase, a detector dog is used to determine if the vehicle has any explosives or not.
Turkish officials said that the security system will be used both during day and at night time.Last Mod: 16 Şubat 2013, 16:46
