A bus traveling to northern Iranian city of Tabriz crashed in central Turkish province of Tokat on Sunday morning, killing at least six people on board and injuring a dozen others.
It was not immediately clear what the nationality of dead passengers were. Tabriz is a northern Iranian city predominantly populated by ethnic Azerbaijani Turks.
The bus, with Iranian plate, left İstanbul Saturday night and crashed in Reşadiye district’s Karlıyayla village. Six killed in the crash were taken to Reşadiye State Hospital morgue.
Health situation of four passengers out of 12 injured people are life-critical and were taken several hospitals in Tokat province.
