Security forces early Friday found 14 dead bodies of PKK in Turkey's eastern Tunceli province, a security source said.
According to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, the dead bodies – five of them women – were found in a search for bodies after an air-backed operation.
Turkish forces seized a large number of weapons, ammunition, and supplies after the operation, the source added.
The PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU – resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July 2015.
Since then, PKK have martyred nearly 800 members of security forces and claimed the lives of over 310 civilians including women and children while more than 10,000 PKK armed group have been killed or apprehended in army operations.Last Mod: 11 Kasım 2016, 09:42
