US Ambassador to Turkey Francis Ricciardone said on Thursday that the cross-border conflicts around Turkey cannot stop the stability and prosperity of Turkey.

The strategic common interests of Turkey and the US are one of the basis which makes the partnership permanent and these strategic common interests are also well suited with the national interests of the two nations, Ricciardone said on Thursday in Istanbul at the 9th anniversary of American Chamber of Commerce in Turkey (AmCham Turkey).

Regarding the latest developments in Turkey's neighbouring countries and their negative effects on Turkey, Ricciardone said the cross-border conflicts around Turkey cannot stop the stability and prosperity of Turkey.
