A wheel locked oil tanker ship caused serious danger in Istanbul's Bosporus on Monday. As the tanker started to swivel, the crew decided to cast an anchor. Turkish coast guard teams intervened the oil tanker.
The 135 meters long oil tanker YM Miranda escaped a terrible accident in Istanbul's Bosporus as the steering wheel suddenly locked and the giant ship started to swivel. The ship stopped by casting the anchor and is still waiting under the Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridge.
It is believed that the tanker may cause damage to internet cables running under the sea.
