Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay says there has been no shift in the main axis of the solution process in the nation's Kurdish issue.
Speaking at CNNTurk TV channel on Sunday, Atalay said the government had full determination and sincerity for the process, and everybody now trusted in this stance of the government.
'In the general aspect, dialogue is continuing, there is no interruption. There can be objections, expectations, different views, but keeping dialogue channels open is the most important factor for the vitality and future of the process,' Atalay said.
'This is a long path and it has many dimensions. The target of this process is to end terrorism, violence and use of weapons, and then these will be followed by the rehabilitation of the members of terrorist organizations,' he noted.
Stating that the process had been pursued in the most transparent way possible, Atalay said that nearly one year has passed since the process was initiated, and the support for the process had never decreased, on the contrary, the support and positive stance towards the process increased. Atalay said that the support to the process was around 85 percent in the southeastern Anatolia region.Last Mod: 02 Aralık 2013, 10:06
