The result of March 30's local election voting in Agri, a city in Turkey's east, has been overruled by the provincial election body after appeals from rival parties.
The board made the decision to re-hold the elections on June 1 during a recount of votes after an appeal from the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party.
Peace and Democracy Party's (BDP) provincal head had announced their candidate's victory, by only 10 votes ahead of the AK Party contestant, on Monday
BDP candidate Sirri Sakik, also an MP in eastern province Mus, said the board had postponed the election after their appeal.
