A 5.4-magnitued earthquake shook Fethiye district in Turkey's Mediterranean region on Monday afternoon.
Boğaziçi University's Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute said a 5.4-magnitued quake struck Fethiye on Monday. No casualties have been reported so far.
The district was recently affected by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake on June 14. The tremor caused much panic and sparked rumors of tsunami throughout the district, with residents fleeing to higher ground.
