A total of 79 Syrians including four colonels, who defected from army, and their families have crossed in Turkey on Friday.
The Syrians entered Turkey via Hatay province. They were later transferred to Apaydin camp under tight security measures.
Meanwhile, four Syrians, who were wounded during clashes in Idlib city of Syria, were brought in Turkey by trucks. They were taken to hospitals in Hatay.
According to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD), the number of Syrians who are staying in Turkey reached around 158,000.
There are 5 tent cities in Hatay, 2 in Sanliurfa, 3 in Gaziantep, and one each in Kahramanmaras, Osmaniye and Adiyaman, as well as two container sites in Kilis and Sanliurfa to host Syrian refugees.
