A man opened fire Thursday outside a courthouse, killing four people and wounding two others in Turkey's southeastern Gaziantep province, officials said.
The incident occurred at the parking lot of the courthouse, Gaziantep's chief prosecutor said, adding the attack came after a divorce hearing which involved the assailant and one of the two women victims.
The prosecutor said the gunman had later turned himself into the police.
The assailant and the victims were said to have had filed law suits against each other in several separate disputes in the past and it was not clear whether the divorce case prompted the man to carry out the attack.
Officials said one of the wounded was a passerby.
