Turkish aid agency Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) will offer consultations to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), a press release from the foundation said.

The OIC announced during a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers in December 2013 that it would grant 12 relief agencies from the member states "consultant status."

The relief agencies consulting the OIC will play important roles in Muslim countries across the world, the release said.

The OIC, a group of 57 member states, is the second largest organization in the world.

The IHH also has consultancy status with the UN Economic and Social Council.
