Injuries from Kirkuk attack brought to Turkey

Three people who were wounded in an attack in the north of Iraq were brought to Turkey for treatment on Saturday, the Prime Minister's Office of Turkey said.

Three people who were wounded in an attack in the north of Iraq were brought to Turkey for treatment on Saturday, the Prime Minister's Office of Turkey said.

A General Staff plane brought three people who were injured in an attack in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk and three people accompanying them to Ankara.

One of the injured, Turkmen colonel Burhan Tayyip Taha Omer is in critical condition, and therefore he was taken to Gulhane Military Medical Academy.

The other injured Ali Gazi Mohammed Rasit and Ozhan Hamdi Halit Vahit would be treated in Ataturk Research Hospital.

One person was killed and nine others were wounded in a recent attack in Kirkuk.
