A Pakistani cargo plane left Turkish capital Ankara on Sunday after being forced to land at Esenboga Airport on Saturday.

Taking off from Kyrgyzstan's capital city Bishkek, the Pakistani cargo plane was warned by the air traffic control tower in Ankara upon entering Turkish airspace and was made to land at Esenboga Airport.

Turkish police checked and searched the plane, but found nothing suspicious.

The Pakistani cargo plane was carrying humanitarian aid from China to the Syrian capital of Damascus, as sources said.
