Assailants opened fire on a police station and also left a car bomb outside it in south-central Turkey’s Adana province early Tuesday, local police said.
The incident took place at the Denizli Police Station in Adana’s Seyhan district.
Later, police got rid of the car bomb in a controlled blast.
"The car which contained an explosive prepared by two picnic tubes was detonated in a controlled manner," Adana Governor Mustafa Buyuk told Anadolu Agency.
