Serbia became the leader of Group A of the FIBA 2010 World Basketball Championship at the end of first-day games.

Serbia defeated Angola 94-44 in Group A of 2010 World Basketball Championship in the central Anatolian province of Kayseri on Saturday.

The coach of Angola's national basketball team said on Saturday that his team lost a game against Serbia in the ongoing world championship as the rival team was strong.

Speaking after his team's defeat by Serbia in a Group A match in the 2010 World Basketball Championship in central Anatolian Kayseri province, Angola's coach Luis Magalhaes said there was not much to say on Serbia's victory, and continued, "they were strong and they won".

Commenting on the game, Serbian team's technical director Dusan Ivkociv said that Angola was a young team which he respected.

Noting that his players were prepared very well for today's match, Ivkovic said Serbia had to display an offensive & defensive game and it succeeded in doing so.

So, Serbia became the leader of Group A of the FIBA 2010 World Basketball Championship at the end of first-day games.

As part of the Group A games played in Kayseri, Australia defeated Jordan 76-75, as Serbia defeated Angola 94-44 and Argentina scored 78-74 against Germany.
