The Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will meet with the leader of the northern Iraq Kurdish regional government Massoud Barzani over the weekend. Barzani, who is attending a mass wedding of 300 couples in the Turkish city of Diyarbakir on November 16, will meet with Erdogan later in the day.

The meeting is believed to be about an oil pipe that will be established across the northern Iraqi and Turkish border.

It has also been confirmed that Sivan Perwer, a famous Kurdish singer, will also be arriving in Diyarbakir, where he will sing a duet with another famous Kurdish singer Ibrahim Tatlises.

Erdogan confirmed reports of Perwer’s planned performance at the mass wedding with Ibrahim Tatlises on Sunday. Due to political problems, Perwer had to flee to northern Iraq, where he currently lives. It will be the first time he will enter Turkey for 37 years.
