Slovenia loses, but praises US performance in FIBA games

The coach of the U.S. national basketball team defined on Sunday its game against Slovenia in the FIBA 2010 World Basketball Championship as a good one.

Coach Mike Krzyzewski of the United States said he was pleased with his team's performance against Slovenia in the Group B game on the second day of the championship, and Slovenia also played well.

The USA lost the control of the game during the match but the team boosted its morale again, Krzyzewski told a press conference in Istanbul.

Slovenia's coach Mehmed Becirovic said the United States played perfectly, and defined the U.S. as a team comprised of athletic players.

Becirovic said the United States performed an aggressive defense, and although Slovenia tried everything when defending itself, it could not stop its rival.
