A Spanish tourist was reported missing after fire destroyed a wooden sailboat carrying tourists in southwestern Turkey.
The boat "Kayhan-9" was on its way from the popular resort town of Marmaris to another resort town, Fethiye, with 18 Spanish tourists and 5 crew members on board when the fire broke out. The crew members asked for help from coast guard teams and the other boats in the region after failing to extinguish the fire.
Coast guard teams rescued 17 tourists and 5 crew members and extinguished the fire. But one of the tourists could not be found.
The tourists and crew members were rushed to hospitals in Fethiye. None of them is in critical condition.
