A car which was stolen Turkey’s Family and Social Politics Minister’s assistant Askin Asan has been found in Syria.

Askin Asan’s car was stolen by a 15-year-old, who can only be identified as M.T., and taken to Istanbul where it was sold to Murat Y. with a fake German registration plate. The car was later taken to Turkey’s Hatay province, from which it entered Syria.

After being followed up by Turkish intelligence agency MIT, the vehicle was seized by the Free Syria Army and returned to Turkey. Askin Asan’s official car was returned a day before the Islamic festival of Eid.
