 The summer time ends on Sunday morning on October 27 and the clocks will go back 1 hour starting from 4.00 a.m. Sunday.

The daylight saving summer time application is done twice a year starting from spring and ending in autumn.

It is reported that the summer time application saves around 800 million - 1 billion Kilowatt of energy. This saving corresponds to a middle range hydroelectric power plant.

The application started in 1925 in Turkey based on the Law in Relation to "Divide the Day into 24 Hours."
