Traffic accidents killed 42 people and injured 273 others across Turkey during Eid al-Fitr, the three-day feast that follows the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

According to a compilation by Anadolu Agency, many traffic accidents occurred nationwide during Eid, killing 42 people and injuring 273.

On the first day of Eid, 9 people were killed in traffic accidents and 94 others were injured; on the second day 17 were killed and 93 others were injured, and on the last day 16 were killed and 86 others were injured.
