Turkey became a first quarter finalist after defeating France 95-77 on Sunday in a game in Istanbul in the 2010 World Basketball Championship, winning all the games so far.

Turkey became a first quarter finalist after defeating France 95-77 on Sunday in a game in Istanbul in the 2010 World Basketball Championship, winning all the games so far.

Bogdan Tanjevic, the coach of Turkish basketball team, said on Sunday that the match in which they gained a victory over France 95-77, was not so easy.

Tanjevic told a news conference that, "I can only feel relaxed in the second half. However, I relied on my players till the match ended. They were excellent."

Vincent Collet, the Coach of France, congratulated Turkish team's victory and noted that he admired Turkey's performance.

The Turkish national basketball team's manager Harun Erdenay said, "we will also defeat Slovenia and qualify to semi-finals".
