Warm and sunny days will continue in a large part of Turkey, meteorologists warned on Tuesday.

Temperatures will continue to rise during the rest of the week, reaching unseasonable degrees. August will also see 1-2 degrees above average, experts said.

Istanbul expects 30, Ankara expects 36, Diyarbakir will see 41 and Antalya will reach 35 degrees on Tuesday.

Temperatures will increase 2-4 degrees in eastern and southeastern Turkey, 3-5 degrees in central part of the country and 1-3 degrees in northern and southern coasts.

This week will be mostly dry and temperatures will see 3-5 degrees above seasonal averages, according to experts.

Winds from Arab peninsula and north Africa bring hot weather to Turkey during summer, especially southeastern part and some part of central Turkey, experts recalled.
