Turkey had a 79-77 victory over Puerto Rico in Group C game in FIBA 2010 World Basketball Championship and secured their top spot in the group following four matches, remaining undefeated.
Turkish national basketball team's assistant coach Orhun Ene said Turkey won a victory over Puerto Rico as their opponents got tired in the last quarter.
Following the win, Orhun Ene said Puerto Rico was a good team but they got tired after three tough games in Group B before playing against Turkey.
"They got tired in the last quarter and helped us win this victory," Ene said.
Puerto Rico coach Cintron Monolo congratulated Turkey and said Turkish team did a very good job following Tuesday's victory over Greece.
"Turkey is a very good team. Now, we will try to use our last chance to qualify from our group," Monolo said.
