Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc has reiterated his confidence in the solution process regarding Turkey's ethnic Kurdish population, telling the government and opposition MPs at the parliament if the terror problem is eliminated, the process will carry Turkey into a new age.

Elaborating on the solution process, during the speech he made on behalf of ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party on proposed 2014 budget, Arinc said everybody should be happy because terror has not claimed any lives within the past 10 months and politicians should be optimistic, just like people, regarding the solution process.

On the publication of a set of National Security Council decisions taken in 2004 recently by a newspaper, Deputy PM Arinc said that the law on such decisions orders secrecy and referring to the journalist who made the document public added that the success of journalism does not clear a crime.

Arinc was also critical about the language used by some MPs against each other during steamy discussions on various issues at the parliament.
