A suspect who was arrested earlier last year in connection with a probe into Ergenekon was released pending trial by an İstanbul court on Tuesday.
The İstanbul 16th High Criminal Court released Odatv journalist Müyesser Yıldız, who was arrested in March last year as part the probe into Ergenekon -- a shadowy crime network with alleged links within the state that is suspected of plotting to topple the government.
Yıldız was accused of membership in the Ergenekon terrorist organization. The news portal in which Yıldız was working is better known for its pro-Ergenekon publications.
The court rejected request of release of other suspects in the same investigation Soner Yalçın, Barış Terkoğlu, Barış Pehlivan, Hanefi Avcı and Yalçın Küçük.Güncelleme Tarihi: 19 Haziran 2012, 13:05
