Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will go to Russia after Ukraine's presidential election, Turkish media reported.
Crimea will be the most important subject of the talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
Davutoglu will give the message that Crimean Tatars should benefit from rights of autonomy like when they were under Ukrainian administration.
Although Russia and Turkey have different attitudes on Syria and Cyprus, they will exchange ideas to arrive at permanent solutions on the two problems.
Davutoglu will want Russia "to cut the umblical cord to the Assad regime" and to encourage Greek Cyprus, which has tight economic relationships with Russia, to solve the Cyprus problem.Last Mod: 26 Mayıs 2014, 14:51
